In June 7 issue, Russell County News By Barbara Sharp Zimmerman, Columnist So, the Russell County Fair is underway again. Wait, isn’t this the first part of June? When I was growing up, the Fair was always the first week in August. You know, when the vegetable crops were all in, and people could enter their produce – both fresh and canned – to compete for prizes.
In June 7 issue, Russell County News By Ron Cowell, Columnist We have covered a lot of Car Guys and their cars over the past several months. So this week I thought we would take a look at one of the people who help us get our cars in the shape they are in, fixing dents and rust and putting new paint on the cars to make them look new again.
In all the comments and reports we have made about and with Tom Mathews we have noted that on many occasions we have made a mess of spelling his name. It is not Matthew as we have stated, it is not Mathew, it is not Matthews, as we have stated, the correct way we understand is Mathews. Sorry about that Tim.
