Hatchery Creek hosts hot fishing
In July 17-23 issue
WOLF CREEK DAM - If you head down to Hatchery Creek for a day of trout fishing, chances are you won't be fishing alone, according to James Gray, project manager at Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery. "There's always somebody fishing down here," he said.

RC 15-year-old Babe Ruth team wins district title
ONLINE UPDATE
July 10
Russell County defeated Campbellsville, 10-0, last night at Laker Field to capture the District 5 Babe Ruth title. The team now moves on to the state tournament next week in Georgetown. The team's coaches are Barry Coffey, Darrell Selby and David Cross.

Russell County 14-year-old Babe Ruth team wins district

In July 10-16 Issue

The 14-year-old Russell County Babe Ruth team defeated Somerset on Monday, 9-2, and on Tuesday, 15-13, in the District 5 Round Robin tournament to advance to the state Babe Ruth tournament in Lexington.
