Lakers, Lady Lakers split games at Monroe
In Dec. 18 Issue The Russell County Laker and Lady Laker basketball teams split games at
Monroe County on Tuesday night for their first doubleheader of the
season with the Lakers improving to 5-0 while the Lady Lakers fell to
3-1 on the season.

In Dec. 18 Issue The Russell County Lakers traveled to Warren East Friday night and came
away with a victory, 70-66, to move to 4-0 on the season.

Russell County wins in Banker’s Hardwood Classic
In Dec. 18 Issue The Lady Lakers gave perhaps their best performance of the young
season, according to Coach Craig Pippen, in the Banker’s Hardwood
Classic at Laker Gym on Saturday, defeating Washington County 58-27 to
go 3-0 on the year.
