Lakers, Lady Lakers defeat rival Metcalfe
ONLINE UPDATE-Jan. 3
Both the Russell County Lakers and Lady Lakers defeated district rival Metcalfe County in a doubleheader Friday night at Laker gym.
The 8-2 Lady Lakers, coached by Craig Pippen, won by six, escaping with a 49-43 victory while Coach Willie Feldhaus' Lakers sent Metcalfe County home a 75-43 loser. The Lakers' record on the season now stands at 12-1.
