Lakers upset top-seeded Warren Central in region play
ONLINE UPDATE-March 7 The Laker basketball team upset top-seeded Warren Central, 65-57, Saturday night in the opening round of the 4th region tournament at E.A. Diddle Arena in Bowling Green. Coach Willie Feldhaus' team shot 59 percent from the field against the 25-5 Dragons and were led in scoring by Bryson McFall with 17 points, the game's MVP. Friday afternoon parkway crash kills two
ONLINE UPDATE-March 6 A Friday afternoon two-vehicle crash killed two, and injured three others, on the Louie B. Nunn Cumberland Parkway, about seven miles east of Russell Springs, according to emergency officials.
