A Russell County man that has been charged with numerous sexual crimes entered a plea of "not guilty" Tuesday morning through Attorney David Zorin during his arraignment in the Russell Circuit Courtroom.
During the arraignment, Judge Vernon Miniard revoked a $50,000 surety bond for Jonas Snow. A pre-trial hearing was set for March 11 while a jury trial was set for April 24 for the 1st degree criminal abuse charge he was indicted on last December, according to Circuit Court Clerk Tony Kerr.
Snow is charged with first degree criminal abuse of a child less than ten years of age, 1st degree assault and possession and distribution of material portraying sexual performance by a minor along with several other state charges late last year.
A previous charge of 1st degree rape was dropped at the arraignment.
Snow is currently being held at the Adair Regional Jail in Columbia.
