Laker and Lady Laker basketball and cheerleading awards given out at banquet

In May 1-7 Issue

The awards banquet for the Laker and Lady Laker basketball and cheerleading programs was held on Sunday at the high school.

The following is a listing of all award winners. Congratulations to all from the Times Journal.

Lady Laker winners:

Michelle Copley, Best Free Throw Percentage, Most Assists

Ashley Franklin, Best Field Goal Percentage

LeeAnn Grider, Best 3-Point Percentage

Lindsay Ramage, Rebounding Award

Kim Pierce, Most Steals

Academic Awards

Kim Pierce, Rachael Miller, Michelle Copley, Lindsay Ramage, Blair Hoover, Heather Burton and Tyla Bailey.

Laker winners:

Robbie Bell, Best Field Goal Percentage

Bryon Ellis, Best 3-Point Percentage, Most Steals

Lucas Justice, Best Free Throw Percentage at 80 Percent

Timmy Coffey, Rebounding Award

Bryson McFall, Most Assists

Josh Popplewell, Earl Aaron Award

Academic Awards

Cheerleading also gave out season awards as well. Award winners are as follows:
