Lakers place second in invitational at Lakewood

In August 7-13 Issue

Russell County Team #1 combined for a total of 301 to claim second place out of 22 teams in the Laker Invitational last weekend at Lakewood Country Club.

Lexington Catholic shot a 300 to beat the Lakers by one shot.

The Laker golf team is very young, with only one senior, Joe Wilson.

The rest of the spots are being filled with sophomores and freshman so the team is very excited about this strong showing at the first of the season.

The team is coached by Wes Bottom.
