The Lady Laker Golf placed second on Saturday at Eagle's Nest Country Club in Somerset in the Pulaski/Somerset Invitational Tournament.

The Lady Lakers had a team total of 337.

April Emerson was tied for first place individual honors after 18 holes of play.

She came away with second place overall individual honors after a sudden death playoff with North Hardin's Lydia Gumm.

Jalena Barnes also placed in the top ten in the tournament.

The Lady Lakers were also in action on Thursday evening in a match at Eagle's Nest taking on Somerset and Pulaski County.

The Lady Lakers won the match with a total score of 176, beating Somerset by one stroke and also Pulaski County's score of 189.

The Lady Laker JV Golf Team was in action at Lakewood Country Club on Monday evening taking on Clinton County.

The Lady Laker JV was also in action on Saturday in the Gene Hilen 9-Hole Invitational tournament at Juniper Hills Golf Course in Frankfort.
