Now you can post Buy, Sell or Trade items for free on our new web site, and know it will get lots of looks.
Lake Cumberland Trader is a completely FREE online classified ads, now available at lakecumberlandtrader.com
It offers a fast, simple, searchable way of posting and reading your ads offering items for sale or trade or wanted. There are also categories for announcements and personals, where folks can seek to meet each other.
There is no charge for reading or posting ads, and no fees of any kind for any transactions made as a result. In fact, you don’t even have to register to use the site.
When posting an ad, you simply assign a password to the ad so you — as the original poster — can edit the ad to change or fix it, or delete it. All ads automatically delete themselves 60 days after they are originally posted.
It's possible to easily attach up to three photos to ads, making it simple to illustrate what you are trying to sell. The online was designed to be simple and fast, and not overloaded with graphics that could slow down the page display. The software has a powerful search feature, and enhancements that let you set "favorites" and other useful features.
While there are some limitations as to what can be posted — buying, selling, trading or even advertising some things are illegal or highly regulated by the government — there are no limitations on who can post the ads.
All ads are subject to approval before they become visible to the public. This is to watch for issues, and to prevent a flood of “spam” ads from outside the area. However, once visible, ads posted on Lake Cumberland Trader have the potential of being seen by more persons online than any other source in the Lake Cumberland region.
Lake Cumberland Trader is managed by the same folks who have run lakecumberland.com for over a dozen years, and it takes advantage of the premier regional site’s already very large readership. Quantified statistics (verified by outside sources) show that over 20,000 individual persons view the sites maintained by the regional online network every month, year round.
The new Trader classifieds site is the featured free online ads site for not only lakecumberland.com, but area radio stations and newspapers, and will be featured on their active web sites as well.
It is the online free classified listing service for The Times Journal and Russell County News.
Categories on Lake Cumberland Trader include: Merchandise, Career/Jobs, Real Estate, Vehicles, Boating, Fishing, Pets, Services, Music, Community, and Personals.
