Lady Laker volleyball have tough time at Marion County Invitational

In Sept. 3-10 Issue

The Lady Laker volleyball team took out Monticello in freshmen, junior varsity and varsity action last week before hitting a rough stretch.

The freshmen team won their match 25-7, lost the second 9-15 and won the tie-breaker 15-7. The JV ladies 21-6 and 21-17.

Coach Sarah Roy's varsity ladies won 25-8 and 25-13.

The Lady Lakers then welcomed Clinton County to Laker Gym last Thursday and were beaten two games to one.

Then the ladies traveled to Marion County for the Marion County Invitational this past Saturday.

The ladies fell to Marion, Boyle, Hart and Southwestern in the invitational.

The ladies host McCreary Central on Thursday in hopes of breaking their five game losing streak.
