A Western Kentucky student from Jamestown was found dead in his Bowling Green apartment Tuesday morning, according to Barry Pruitt, public information officer with the Bowling Green Police Department.
Cody Wilson, 25, was pronounced dead around 9:25 a.m. Tuesday by Dwayne Lawrence, Warren County's chief deputy coroner.
Pruitt said the police department received a call from Wilson's landlord on Tuesday morning and when police arrived they found Wilson's body inside the home.
Wilson's body was sent to the medical examiner's office in Louisville where an autopsy was to be conducted on Wednesday, according to Pruitt.
The death is under investigation and Pruitt said foul play was not suspected in Wilson's death. He was a 2001 graduate of Russell County High School.
Wilson's parents are Bill and Becky Wilson of Russell County. Wilson also had two brothers, Willie Wilson and Eli Wilson.
