The Lady Laker Golf team is 4th in the state of Kentucky.
The Lady Lakers had a cold and wet week last week in Bowling Green playing in the KHSAA State Girls Golf Tournament.
What was meant to be a two-day, 36-hole event turned into rain delays, fog delays, and lightening delays.
The tournament was spread out over three days and the Lady Lakers finished strong.
Senior April Emerson led the way for the Lady Lakers finishing with a two day total of 149 at 5 over par.
She shot a 75 in the first round and a 74 for the 2nd round capturing 5th place overall individual honors.
Danielle Murray shot an 85 in the first round and an 83 in the second round putting her in the top 25 in the state.
Jalena Barnes shot a 92 in the first round and a 91 in the second round.
Lauren Haynes shot a 93 in the first round and a 95 in the second round.
Brianne Coe shot a 100 in the first round and an 88 in the second round.
Congratulations to the Russell County Lady Laker Golf Team and their coaches Robin Rixon and Lowell Robertson.
