In Oct. 23-29 IssueApril Emerson has earned a spot for the 3rd year in a row
on the Kentucky All-State Golf Team. April, the Lady Laker standout, finished in 4th place this year on the All-State point standings. April had a tremendous season. Some of her
honors throughout the season includes: 1st place finish in the Sacred Heart Academy Tournament, 2nd place finishes in the Somerset/Pulaski County Invitational as well as the Ketnucky Invitational Tournament at Russell County, 3rd place finishes in the Glasgow Scotties Invitational and the Russellville Invitational, 4th place finish in the Paul Dunbar Invitational, 5th place finishes in the Christian Academy of Louisville Invitational, Notre Dame Invitational, and Bowling Green Purples Invitational, Region 9 Champion, and she finished 5th place as an individual in the Girls High School State Golf Tournament. April and her family will attend the all-state banquet coming up soon in Louisville.
This is a great accomplishment for April to be among the top 4 girls golfers in the state of Kentucky based on her performance throughout the entire season.
