Laker swimmers get victory

In Dec. 11 Issue

The Laker Swimmers have just completed a very successful week in swimming.

They participated in the Somerset Invitational on Tuesday, Dec. 2 in Somerset; then traveled to Kentucky University in Frankfort for the Frankfort Quint Meet.

Coach Ginny Lengel said, “We are thrilled that the Lakers are coming out on top of teams that are able to practice daily.

We’re really looking forward to seeing the improvement in our swimmers once we get to practice regularly in our new pool.”

Combined Team Scores for both meets are listed.

The Lakers swim again Saturday, Dec. 14 at the Woodford County Invitational. This meet really helps swimmers prepare for regionals where there will be 21 teams with a total of 433 swimmers
