The Lakers were led in scoring by senior Bryon Ellis with 17 points. The loss gives Russell County its second loss in the last three games and gives them a 17-3 record on the year.
The Lakers never seemed to catch their rhythm offensively and shot just 28 percent from the field while Casey County shot 46 percent for the game.
Also scoring for the Lakers was Lucas Justice with six points, Robbie Bell with five points, Bryson McFall and Adam Justice with four each, Zach Carney with three and Martin Cross and Tyler Robertson with two apiece.
The Rebs scored 26 points in the paint and were led in scoring by Brad Jeffries with 16 points.
The sporadic officiating crew forced several Laker fans to leave the game before it ended.
