A 2004 graduate of Russell County High School was killed in a single vehicle crash last Thursday night in Warren County, according to the Kentucky State Police.

Shawn S. Wisebrook, 23, formerly of Russell County, and two others died in the western Kentucky crash.

Wisebrook was a front-seat passenger in the 1999 Honda Accord being driven by his girlfriend, Brittney Shea Wells, 19, of Woodburn in Warren County, according to a police report.

Wells lost control of her vehicle and struck a tree on Three Springs Rd. in Warren County around 9 p.m. Thursday, according to the KSP.

Both Wisebrook and Wells died at the scene and another passenger, Emily Long of Woodburn, died last Friday morning at a Bowling Green hospital, according to reports.

The lone survivor of the crash was Josh Bunch, 19, of Woodburn. He remained hospitalized for some time this week.

The group of friends were reportedly headed to Bowling Green to watch a movie.

Wisebrook and his family had previously lived in Jamestown before moving to Bowling Green some time after his graduation.

Wisebrook, a former Russell Springs Wendy's employee, was also a horse trainer at Locust Grove Stable in Russell Springs, according to information from J.C. Kirby Funeral Home in Bowling Green.

Wisebrook is survived by his parents, Dean and Patty Wisebrook. Also, two brothers, Jason Wisebrook of Bowling Green and Brian Wisebrook of Alexandria, Ala., and a sister, Jennifer Grider of Columbia, survive.

Wisebrook's funeral was held this past Monday at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Bowling Green. Visitation was held at the J.C. Kirby Funeral Home.
