In July 2 IssueMurder, theft and assault indictments were returned this week by the Russell County Grand Jury.
Brandon Luttrell was indicted on a charge of theft of service, valued over $300. It was alleged that Luttrell took service from South Kentucky RECC by deception.
Robert Alvarez Gomez was indicted on a charge of Capital Murder idn the stabbing death of Jorge Sanchez Gomez.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene April 26th. The Sunday afternoon stabbing took place in the trailer court on Cleveland Road.
Gomez had reportedly fled the scene, but turned himself in to authorities in Tennessee, saying he had been involved in a stabbing in Russell Springs.
Everett Hobbs was true-billed by the grand jury on two charges of first degree assault.
He allegedly attacked Ricky Bernard and Phillip Bernard with a wooden club, according to the charges and it was also charged that he is, by that action, a persistent felony offender.
