The other two juvenile passengers in the vehicle were also taken to the hospital, and Joy R. Vandergriff, 38, of Louisville was arrested by Deputy Lee Smith on suspicion of driving under the influence, and four counts of felony wanton endangerment.
She was ordered held under $10,000 cash or $20,000 property bond.
The condition of her son, Josh Reed, and her 13-year-old niece Rebecca Rankins of Jamestown at the Lexington hospital was unavailable.
Sixteen year old David Sharer of Mt. Washington and 17-year-old Brook Belt of Sulfur were taken by ambulance to Russell County Hospital.
Deputy Nick Bertram said the wreck occurred at about 7:30 p.m. approximately 3 miles south of Jamestown at the intersection of Boat Dock road and Scotts Chapel Road.
The report indicated that Vandgrift was driving south on Ky. 92, in a 2001 Dodge extended cab pickup, when she lost control of the truck, it left the road, struck a fence and overturned.
Vandgrift was reportedly not injured.
