This past Saturday Sonic Drive In in Russell Springs held their 2nd annual Car Show at the famous American Drive in.. Several were on hand in spite of the heat to enjoy the show and have a good time.
The Show started officially at 12 noon and ran till 3:00 PM but cars started rolling in as early as 10:30. Charlie Napier, The DJ of the Cars was on hand to play some of the good old Rock and Roll and country music. He also had plenty of Trivia questions where people were winning DVD movies and much more. Along with the music there was Corn Hole games on hand with people tossing the corn bag for points to win.
Brandy, the Mgr. Of Sonic was on hand also to pass out door prizes and the trophies. Some really nice cars attended the show this year. Judges said they had a very hard time picking the winners.
John McDaniel took the best of Show with his 1957 Ford Hartop Convertible. This is a beautiful car that I’m sure many have seen at some of the Area shows.
The top 10 cars were honored also. Those people are shown in the picture. To many to name them all but I am sure you know the faces. Congrats to all the winners that day ...
