On September 8, both 7th and 8th grade middle school Lady Laker teams hosted Green County.  The 7th grade lost 32 - 30.  

The 7th graders were led by Alyssa Bennett with 10 points and 16 rebounds.  

Kelsey Simpson had 8 points and 6 rebounds.  

Brittany Simpson and Macey Johnson had 4 points each and Raven Helm and Katie Robertson had 2 each.

The 8th grade team won 41-23.  

Leading scorer was Madison Loy with 16 points.  Dainelle Walters and Alyssa Bennett contributed 8 each, and Rachel McFall, Baylee Hadley, Abbigail Adams and Macey Johnson each having 2.  

Alyssa Bennett lead the team with 6 rebounds and Madison Loy and Rachel McFall had 3 steals each.

Both middle school teams played in the Lebanon Middle School Tournament this past weekend.  

The 7th grade won against St. Charles 15-36, but lost to Grayson County 27-23.  During the St. Charles game, the lady lakers were lead by Alyssa Bennett with 22 points and 18 rebounds, Macey Johnson had 8 points and Brittany Simpson had 6.  

The Grayson County game was led by Brittany Simpson with 11 points, Kelsey Simpson had 6, Alyssa Bennett had 3, Macey Johnson had 2 and Raven Helm had 1.

The 8th grade team had losses to Grayson County (24-17) and Danville (52-45).  In the Grayson County game, the lady lakers were led by Danielle Walters with 9 points and 3 steals.  

Madison Loy contributed 4 points and Abigail Adams and Baylee Hadley had 2 each.  Abigail Adams lead the team with 8 rebounds.  

The Danville game was led by Madison Loy with 14 points, Dainelle Walters with 13 points, Rachel McFall and Macey Johnson with 6 points, Baylee Hadley had 3, Makenzie Back had 2 and Alyssa Bennett with 1.  

Baylee Hadley led the team with 12 rebounds.
