In Oct. 8 Issue"We're pushing the limits," said Aron Houdini. "This isn't going to be like any haunted house anyone has seen here before."
Houdini said he is helping Pam Pierce with the haunted house that is part of the Russell Springs Fall Fest with the "Main Street House of Horror."
"We're holding tryouts for the different parts this Saturday," Houdini said. "We need people of all shapes, sizes and ages."
Those tryouts will begin at 2 p.m. at the old Ford garage on Main St.
He said the insurance company is requiring guides to make sure the visitors make it out the other end of the gauntlet alive.
The house of horror will be opening the 19th and runs through Halloween he said. Fridays and Saturdays it will be open until midnight with other nights going only to 10 p.m. and it is set to open at 7 p.m. nightly Houdini said.
The cost is $5 and anyone under 13 must be accompanied by a parent.
"This is going to be hardcore," he said. "I want to put things in there that would scare Stephen King."
Anyone with questions can call Pierce at 270-566-8536. More information is expected at Myspace.com/mainstreethouseofhorror
