What did you do today for Freedom?
In Nov. 5 Issue

November 11th is Veteran’s Day and we have always held the greatest of respect and admiration for all our veterans and our present service men and women.

Without these brave men and women we often wonder where would this country and world be today.

Our veterans have molded this great world. Our veterans have given their all in the simple name of freedom.

Everyday we see less and less  allegiance to this great nation. People seem to believe freedom is just a way of life and it is free. We see less and less support for our military, less for our country and even now, objection to the display of the American Flag.

We were reminded of this poster that was  popular in the 1940’s...it should be our number one thought of today.

What did you do for freedom today?

This is from a World War II poster. It was intended for our parents, grandparents, and those alive in the very crucial year of the Second World War between 1941 1n 1945. We have always been a patriot and very proud of it. We are a proud Red, White, and Blue citizen of the greatest country that has ever existed, the country that shows the best way to the rest of the world, the “American Way.

What ever happened to this mindset of devotion to our country, this attitude held by most Americans back then this vital attitude of ‘God and Country’? What happened? “Political Correctness or “re-education” happened. Lack of God’s name happened, lack of personal responsibility happened, lack of personal integrity and honesty happened, lack of respect and loyalty to our country happened, lack of being an American happened.”*

There is no home front today to support our troops who have volunteered to give their lives for freedom. Heaven help us if the various factions of terrorists globally ever get strong enough or decide to unite.

We can not imagine what some countries today are living under. Where freedom is a world only in the imagination and so far from reality.

What have you done for Freedom today?

Our salute to all  of our Veterans!
