Last Friday night the RCHS Swim Team and coaches traveled to Shelbyville to compete in the first meet of the season.

“I’m very proud of the swimmers’ performances at our first meet. All their hard work at practice is definitely paying off. Their times have improved drastically already, and I’m looking forward to seeing how much more they will improve by the end of the season,” said first-year coach Lauren Wade.

The Lakers will host their first Invitational at the natatorium this Saturday at 9 a.m.
