From My Window ... by I.C. Toowell
In March 25 Issue

Gosh, we have a new health care bill, or at least they (our government) are working on it. Our government will now be running the insurance companies, hospitals, our heath treatments and our health care.  Plus, we hear they are soon going to limit our salt and sugar.

We will have to just wait and see as we are sure it will be different for different people. As long as they leave my big brown arthritis pill and my big blue pill alone, we will be alright.

We wouldn’t know, as we certainly do not need them, but we have been told there is a limit on how many of those popular big blue pills the insurance companies will pay for per month.  Now that all healthcare and drugs are free, maybe Obama will allow us a few extra blue pills each month. Then we could really call it Obama Care.

The room was full of pregnant women and their partners, and the Lamaze class was in full swing. The instructor was teaching the women how to breathe properly, along with informing the men how to give the necessary assurances at this stage of the plan. The teacher then announced, "Ladies, exercise is good for you. Walking is especially beneficial. And, gentlemen, it wouldn't hurt you to take the time to go walking with your partner!"

The room really got quiet.

Finally, a man in the middle of the group raised his hand.

"Yes?" replied the teacher.

"Is it all right if she carries my golf bag while we walk?"
