16th district baseball, softball tourneys set

In May 20 Issue

In 16th district tournament baseball, the Russell County Lakers will play Clinton County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, May 24 while Cumberland County will face Metcalfe County at 7:30 p.m. that same day.

The championship game is slated for Wednesday, May 26 at 6 p.m.

The softball tournament begins on Tuesday, May 25 at 5:30 p.m. when Metcalfe County takes on Cumberland County while Clinton County takes on the Russell County Lady Lakers at 7:30 p.m.

The championship game is set for Thursday, May 27 at 6 p.m.

All 16th district tournament games will be played at Clinton County High School in Albany.

Admission will be $5.
