We attended the scholarship and awards presentation program this week and have to say we were extremely impressed.

As you know our son was among those honored and while we are proud, it was just overwhelming to see the great number of scholarships awarded to our students.

Thousands and thousands of dollars in the form of scholarships were awarded our seniors. While we certainly appreciate all of those who provide these scholarships, we must have young men and women worthy of receiving them.

Several students received a variety of scholastic assistance and several received four year awards.

A long list of students were recognized with scholastic achievements of 3.7 to 4.0 grade point averages.

This has a direct reflection to our schools, our educators, our administrators and to everyone playing their part in our school system.

Without these educators and administrators the list of scholarship recipients would certainly be less impressive.

Our congratulations to the senior class and our appreciation to all those involved in our school system.
