In June 3 IssueIndictments were handed down by the Russell County Grand Jury and according to the clerk’s office, the following were indicted:
Anthony Popplewell was indicted for theft of services over $500 and with being a persistent felony offender.
Dale Grider was charged with fraudulent insurance acts over $300 and being a persistent felony offender.
Joseph Mollette was charged with three counts of theft by unlawful taking over $300.
Craig Irvin was indicted for criminal possession of a forged instrument, second degree, and with being a persistent felony offender.
Stephanie Walter was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument.
Kevin Lemaire was indicted for sexual abuse in first degree and with being a persistent felony offender.
James Bryant was charged with theft by unlawful taking over $500 and with being a persistent felony offender.
Brandon Coffey was indicted on a charge of theft by unlawful taking of cash, services or items with a value over $500.
Indictment, or true-bill, from a grand jury is not proof of guilt, but is the decision by the panel that enough evidence exists to warrant a trial in the case.
