Everyone goes through life leaving their mark in all different forms and manners.

Jamestown’s Jennifer Wesley, a clothing design and business major at EKU has already placed her mark and it is in the form of a clothing label, PaperCrane.

She chose this label and this mark is already appearing on clothing she has designed, made, and entered into various competitions.

Jennifer has always held a passion for design and sewing and most all of her personal clothing throughout high school and college she perfected herself.

Her latest public entry into the clothing design arena was in the Future of Fashions show held recently in Lexington at the Carnegie Center.

Some 11 designers from the Bluegrass area participated in the event.

Jennifer will complete her degree this fall from the Eastern University and plans beyond that may include additional studies and/or employment in New York City. Jennifer is the daughter of Ronnie and Lisa Wesley of Jamestown and a graduate of Russell County High School.
