Candidates, submit your ‘meet the candidate’ articles soon

Attention Candidates!

With Election Day fast approaching we at the Times Journal would like to invite anyone running for public office in the county or two cities to send us a "Meet the Candidate" profile, written by you, the candidate.

Tell a little about your background, why you're running and what changes need to happen in the office you're running for. Also, send us a photo, preferably digital, to go along with your profile.

"Meet the Candidate" profiles must be 300 words or less and can be sent to the newspaper via email at news@tjrcn.com or by dropping a typed copy of your profile off at our Russell Springs location at 120 Wilson St. Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Profiles will be run "as is" and will not be modified in any way before being published in the Times Journal so be sure to say all you want to say because that is what will be printed.

Deadlines for the candidate profiles and candidate photos are Monday, Oct. 18 at 5 p.m.
