Paranormal show, ghost hunt is Friday
In Sept. 30 Issue

The Russell Springs Downtown Revitalization Committee is presenting the SyFy Channel's Rock N' Roll Ghost Hunter, Keith Age, along with local magician and entertainer Aron Houdini this Friday at the Star Theater.

The show begins at 6 p.m. and is set to promote the city's haunted house, which is located in the old police station on High Street and opens Monday, Oct. 4th.

Admission to the Star Theater show is $10 at the door while tickets to the actual ghost hunt that night are now sold out, according to Houdini.

Age, along with other ghost hunters and Houdini, will demonstrate equipment and show evidence of ghosts during the special show. Age has starred in movies such as The Possessed, Children of the Grave, Spooked, The Haunted Boy and many more.

He will be joined Houdini, whom the SyFy Channel recently said was the hottest new star in the paranormal industry. Houdini will perform several magic tricks but said that the event is strictly concerning the paranormal.

Age and Houdini, along with several other ghost hunters, will demonstrate over $20,000 in paranormal equipment and hi-tech paranormal gadgets.

The group will show real photos and video evidence from various ghost hunts from all over the world along with sharing electronic voice phenomena they have recorded.

Houdini said he has been ghost hunting with the SyFy channel’s Ghost Hunters and Ghost Hunters International.

The Discovery Channel's Ghost Lab will also make a Skype visit during the show at the Star Theater where audience members will be able to ask the Klinge brothers questions and get paranormal insight from the #1 paranormal show on television.

Earlier this month, Houdini signed an exclusive deal with the Klinge Brothers and Paranation Productions along with the Discovery channel.

"Right now we are in the production stages and working on the details of everyone's place and the details of the show," Houdini said. "I don't know much more than this except I'm very excited but at the same time very nervous."

Houdini said the show could lead to a starring role on nationwide cable television. He has his own show on Live Paranormal Network which airs on Thursday nights at 11 p.m.

After the Star Theater show the Ghost Hunters will be going on a live ghost hunt, which will take place at the McGaha house which was featured on A & E's Paranormal State early last year.

The Ghost Hunt is sold out; however anyone that attends the Star theater show will have their opportunity to meet the Ghost Hunters, have your pictures made with them and purchase exclusive merchandise.
