In Oct. 9 IssueRussell County NewsBy Ron Cowell, ColumnistLast Saturday, October 2nd Another Lever Car Club held their annual car show at Highway 80 Auction on 127. It could not have been a more perfect day. The weather was perfect and it was a fun day for all who attended.
Kevin Johnson and Amber Bledsoe along with the rest of the club went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy and had a good time. I said it last year and will have to say it again, this is one of the best and most organized car shows of the year.
The DJ of the Car's, "Charlie Napier" was on hand filling the air with music that put you back in time and made you forget the worries of the day. The Club provided plenty of food and drink for the day and had breakfast and lunch available. On top of that there were some of the nicest and most beautiful cars, trucks and motorcycles on hand on display, and once again old friends meeting and catching up on the events of the year gone by. Oh yea, true car lovers swapping stories about cars and days gone by.
The club did an excellent job in judging once again this year. It was a tough job for them I know. I'm glad I wasn't one of them who had to decide on the winners.
Due to space I won't list the top 50 winners but congrats to all of them.
