An "active meth lab" was discovered Friday at a cottage at Lake Cumberland State Resort Park after an investigation by local and state law enforcement officers.
A search warrant was executed on Cottage #527 Friday afternoon, according to police reports.
During the search officers found the lab along with pre-cursors and other items used in the meth manufacturing process.
Four people were taken into custody in connection with the investigation and more arrests are expected, according to authorities.
Charged with manufacturing methamphetamine were Dustin Cochran, 25, and Ryan Roy, 29, both of Liberty.
Roy is also charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Possession of Marijuana.
Also arrested at the scene was James Mondie, 40, of Russell Springs, who is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Brittany Foley, 22, of Russell Springs who was served with a local district court warrant for failure to pay fines.
All four were lodged in the Casey County Jail.
The investigation is continuing by State Park Ranger Jeremy Burton and Russell Springs Police Officer Chasity Shirley.
