RCHS softball gearing up for district with wins

In May 19 Issue

As the Lady Laker softball teams looks to the post-season, they’re getting a few quality wins along the way.

Over the past week Coach Stephanie McGowan’s club as gone 2-2 with victories over Southwestern by a score of 4-2 and a 3-0 win over Campbellsville.

One of their losses was also to Southwestern as they were downed 4-1 in the first game of an away road doubleheader Monday.

The other loss came at the hands of Somerset Tuesday by a score of 4-6.

The Lady Lakers host Casey County at home on Thursday night for senior night at 5 p.m. before finishing out the regular season on Friday at Green County.

The Lady Lakers travel to Burkesville Tuesday as they will play Clinton County at 7:30 p.m. in the district tournament.
