In May 21 IssueAt Bank of Jamestown’s 2011 4.0 Honors Banquet last Tuesday, 17 Russell County High School students were awarded for their academic achievement.
"Bank of Jamestown has had the pleasure of hosting the 4.0 Banquet for over 20 years,” said Bank of Jamestown, AVP Patty Lamb. “We enjoy spending time with the students and their parents honoring their accomplishments and talking about their future plans.”
Recipients of the honors maintained the highest possible Grade Point Average (GPA) throughout their high school careers.
Those recognized at the banquet were: Heather Jo Burton, daughter of Joe and Vanessa Burton, who plans to attend Lindsey Wilson College and major in medicine; Donavyn Tate Coffey, daughter of Troy and Allison Coffey, who plans to attend the UK and is undecided; Martin Cross, son of David and Jennifer Cross, who will attend WKU majoring in education/coaching; Alisha Denee Dockery, daughter of Perry and Michelle Dockery will attend Georgetown College and is undecided; Jonathan Scott Dunn, son of Scottie and Kim Weston and Scott Dunn, will attend WKU and is undecided; Emily Brooke Hadley, daughter of Scott and Sandra Hadley, who will attend Somerset Community College and major in special education; Samantha Jean Harden, daughter of Eric and Patricia Harden, who will attend Lindsey Wilson College; Taylor Ryan Hutchison, son of Tammy Hutchison, who will attend WKU and major in exercise sciences/physical therapy; Rachel Denise Johnson, daughter of Dallas and Jean Johnson, who will attend Lindsey Wilson College majoring in biology; Kerry Evan Kingry, son of James and Sheila Kingry, who will attend WKU majoring in biology; Benjamin Wagner Lee, son of Pete and Jamie Lee, who will attend WKU and is undecided; Bethany Ann Oakes, daughter of Dewell and Joyce Oakes, who will attend Lindsey Wilson College and major in English; Lindsay Rose Ramage, daughter of Bill and Carole Ramage, who will attend Campbellsville University majoring in nursing; Sarah Brooke Shaw, daughter of Larry and Donna Shaw, who will attend Lindsey Wilson College majoring in mathematics/secondary education; Katelyn Hope Skeens, daughter of Lisa Skeens and the late Don Skeens, who will attend U of L majoring in pre-pharmacy; Travone Aaron Taylor, son of Melissa Taylor, who will attend U of L and major in marketing; and Zakkary Logan West, son of Jeremie and Tish West, who plans to attend UK majoring in pharmacy.
Each 4.0 student received a certificate of achievement and gifts from Bank of Jamestown.
All attendees were treated to a meal at Lake Cumberland State Resort Park’s dinner buffet.
Bank of Jamestown extends congratulations to the entire RCHS class of 2011.
“We are so proud of all the graduating seniors,” Lamb said.
